462.675/467.675 E-mail for access
The WROT272 462.675 is a Motorola Quantar, set for 50w with a generic flat pack duplexer, and a Comet CA-712EFC vertical antenna at 110 ft above ground. The repeater is a short distance north of Greenville, Ohio, and provides excellent coverage for the surrounding area.
It also uses an external repeater controller, which is a Raspberry Pi with a RIM-Lite interface from Repeater Builder. The software is currently Allstarlink 3. While Allstar offers linking capabilities, this feature has not been set up, due to linking not being permitted on GMRS. The other features available trough Allstar are nice enough to use it without the link. This allows us to use custom voice ID’s, announcements, etc. It’s also accessible remotely over a private network connection, which makes administration easier.
